Jack Gilbert and his muse Ina Jack Gilbert
Jack Gilbert, BA, LLB, LLM, QC, Retired securities, corporate, business lawyer. After retiring from his law practice, Jack has moved on to many successful entrepreneurial pursuits. With the influence of a father who was a professional photographer and a brother, Al Gilbert, who is recognized nationally and internationally for his unique portrait style along with his wife and muse, artist Ina Gilbert, Jack naturally turned as a serious hobby to photography. Jack combines his natural eye at capturing the perfect shot with his ever growing mastery of Adobe Photoshop to create works of art, uniquely his own style. Jack enjoyed almost immediate success with a sell out show of his first group of works which he refers to as “abstracted conceptual compositions that are as much about imagination as reality”.
